FRAUDULENT RECRUITMENT ADVERTS
Recently there has been a rise in false employment advertisements claiming to be from Canyon Coal. The company would like to urge members of the public to be cautious of all advertised job opportunities. Although we attempt to advertise jobs on as many platforms as possible, the company will never:
Post job advertisements on social media
Request applicant’s banking details or request money
Provide a fax number to which applications may be sent. The company does not have a fax number for job applications
Because we follow procedure to avoid possible scams, likely vacancies will only be found:
On career websites
At the mines
At the municipality or ward councillors
