Vacancy: Water Bowser Operator X1
The company would like to recruit a Water Bowser Operator to be based at Khanye Colliery in Bronkhorstspruit.
PURPOOSE:
The suitable candidate will be expected to perform dust control or suppression in and around the mine.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Grade 12
Medically fit
Valid driver's license (Code 10/ C1)
Valid water bowser operating license
Be in possession of Symbol B Dover test
EXPERIENCE
2 - 3 years’ experience operating a water bowser in opencast mining
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Always ensure ramps are not overwatered
Adhere to all haul road traffic signs
Must be able to follow instructions
Must water the surface at an appropriate speed at all times
Ensure all lights are functional for visibility
Must maintain good communication with fellow employees when entering loading areas to suppress dust conditions
Ensure good housekeeping in the cab of the water bowser
