Vacancy: Canyon Coal - Spotter

The Company would like to recruit the Spotter that will be based at Rietkuil Siding. 

DESCRIPTION 

 The Spotter is responsible to ensure the correct stockpiling of coal at the siding In order to avoid contamination, good housekeeping at the siding and to Keep the siding clean.  

OTHER SKILLS/COMPETENCIES: 

• Good communication skills 

• Good problem-solving skills 

• Attention to detail is of utmost importance. 

• Must be able and willing to work shifts 

 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY 

Duties will include, but are not limited to the following: 

• Spotting: Ensures that trucks off load at the correct stockpile 

• Ensure good housekeeping practices at the siding. 

• Collect samples of trucks that have been off loaded 

• Be able to work in the open, in all weather conditions and dusty conditions 

• Understand instructions and execute them satisfactorily
