Vacancy: GRV Clerk
The company would like to recruit an GRV Clerk to be based at Canyon Coal’s Head Office in Sandton.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Grade 12 (With Maths/Maths lit)
Qualification in related field
EXPERIENCE:
At least 2 years relevant experience
Experience in mining environment is an added advantage.
OTHER SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
No criminal record
Numeric Accuracy
Financial acumen
Exceptional written and oral communication skills (telephonic and email).
Attention to detail.
Proficient in MS Office Applications.
Helpful and supportive attitude to suppliers and colleagues.
Ensure high levels of customer service.
Always maintain regular and consistent professional attendance.
Continuous Professionalism.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure all deliveries from suppliers have the correct documentation attached.
Inform management of any discrepancies daily.
GRV input on MSD ensuring quantity, price, and internal authorisations.
Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge for performance.
E-mail and follow up all enquiries and claims with relevant suppliers when necessary.
Ensure housekeeping is up to standard.
Clear GRV’s on MSD from 30+ days
Adhere to Health and Safety Policy.
Follow-up with suppliers (Proof of deliveries and Invoices)
Adhere to company policies and procedures.
