Vacancy: Driver
The company would like to recruit a Driver to be based at Khanye Colliery in Bronkhorstspruit
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Grade 12
Code 10 Driver’s licence with valid PDP
OTHER SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
Showing a good knowledge of the COPs, policies, procedures, safe work practices and site safety instructions
Health, safety and environmental awareness skills
Good operating skills
Setting high standards of performance for self and others
Medical fitness certificate
Good communication skills
EXPERIENCE:
At least 2 years’ experience in the Mining industry, in the same role
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure that the correct goods are delivered at the right place, at the right time
Drive the company car to and from different areas
Collection of orders and deliveries
Always ensure the safety of the company car by driving carefully and report any faults or incidents to the mechanic
Transport of personnel as and when required
To always ensure the safety of the equipment and personnel
Communicate with all people involved in the execution of this function
Take any lawful and reasonable instructions from the supervisor or foreman
Do prestart inspections of equipment
